Annunciata Hermitage
Annunciata Hermitage celebrates the feast of the Annunciation of Mary. This feast recalls the encounter Mary had with an Angel. It is a powerful story of God choosing to listen in on the conversation respectfully waiting for Mary’s response to the invitation to be the Mother of God. Annunciata Hermitage building is in keeping with the PHJC mission to the environment, the Earth Charter, and Pope Francis’ encyclical on the environment. This Hermitage contains a full bath and kitchen, screened in porch, table, chair and bed. Retreatants bring their own food, or upon request breakfast and evening meals are provided.
The Annunciata Hermitage is an exciting new project for the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ.
